Surroundings

Osnabrück, the "city of peace", is famous for the Peace of Westphalia, which was signed in 1648. Today, the city delights visitors with historical sights such as the town hall, St. Peter's Cathedral and the 17th-century castle. Other highlights include Osnabrück Zoo, the Felix Nussbaum House and the nearby UNESCO Geopark TERRA.vita.

 

Arriving by car:

The Hotel Remarque Osnabrück is easily accessible by car.  The address for your navigation system is: Natruper-Tor-Wall 1, 49076 Osnabrück

Arriving from the south (e.g. Münster, Ruhr area):

  • Take the A1 to the Lotte motorway junction.
  • There, change to the A30 towards Osnabrück.
  • Take the Osnabrück-Hellern exit and follow the signs towards the city centre.
  • Follow Martinistraße and then Wallring (Natruper-Tor-Wall) to the hotel.

Arriving from the north (e.g. Bremen, Hamburg):

  • Take the A1 motorway to the Osnabrück-Nord exit.
  • Follow the B68 towards Osnabrück city centre.
  • Turn onto Wallring (Natruper-Tor-Wall) and follow it to the hotel.

Arriving from the west or east (e.g. Amsterdam, Hanover):

  • Take the A30 to the Osnabrück-Hellern exit.
  • Follow the signs towards the city centre.
  • Follow Martinistraße and then Wallring (Natruper-Tor-Wall) to the hotel.

Please note that the hotel is located in Osnabrück's low emission zone. You will need a green emissions sticker to enter the zone.

Parking and charging your car directly at the hotel

Guests can conveniently park their vehicles in the public underground car park directly next to the hotel. The car park offers sufficient parking spaces and is accessible around the clock.

Modern charging stations for electric cars are also available for environmentally conscious travellers.
There is a charge for using the car park and charging points.
The hotel lobby is easily accessible via the lift or a few steps on foot.

 

Arriving by train

There are two train stations in Osnabrück: the main station and the Altstadt/Hasetor station. Both offer convenient access to the hotel.

From the main station:
From Osnabrück main station, several bus connections will take you quickly and easily to Rißmüllerplatz or Heger Tor. From there, it is only a few minutes' walk to the hotel.

From Altstadt/Hasetor station:
From Altstadt/Hasetor station, you can reach the hotel in about 10–12 minutes on foot. Alternatively, you can take a bus to the Rißmüllerplatz stop, which is only a few steps away from the hotel.

Alternative arrival:
Taxis are available at both stations at any time and will take you directly to the hotel in about 5–10 minutes.
